Love in Time of Corona. Part2
Staying physically away from each other - at this moment, it seems to be one strategy that will help us to “flatten the curve”.
The survival of our world depends on each of us!
As much as I hate social isolation, digital pseudo-communication and as much as I miss being in a group with you, we can still be together through the heart field. My heart is telling me to offer you this: a series of simple practices for supporting the Immune system during time of stress which you can do at home or anywhere. These simple techniques have proven to reduce stress, thus promoting a proper immune response. Stuck at home? Here is a simple Tui Na you can practice on each other in a safe way - without facing each other:
(Don’t forget to switch roles!)
WATCH: (Love in the time of Corona Part 2) This is the simple TuiNa technique for the back which regulates the ANS by shifting the body from sympathetic survival dominance to safe playful ventral vagal tone. Also known as “lymphatic pump”- good for stimulating the Lymph flow in the morning.
I have learned ( and still do) from excellent teachers: Dr Eric Marlien DO, Dr.Steven Porges (PVT), Dr. Bruno Chikly DO, Stanley Rosenberg, Dr. Passang Aria (Tibetan medicine), Dr.Isaak Eliaz, Dr.Y. Gacheva, Chantel Ehler (Amara Vidia yoga ), Janet Katz( 2nd Story yoga)
And from all my extraordinary experiences with you. You, my patients, are one of my best teachers!
The modalities we’ll practice:
-Autonomic Nervous System regulation through Self-mobilization of the vagus nerve
-Acupressure for supporting the immune system
-Meditation for Open Heart Medicine
-therapeutic yoga
-pranayam
-TuiNa massage
-LDT for head and face
-Dance
Keep the heart opened!
Be compassionate, help one elder neighbor, wash your everything constantly
and donate to research, not election campaigns.
Love,
Elena
