What do your manual therapy practice, your Vagus nerve and Ukraine war have to do with each other?

For some of us this war is happening on the tv screen. Does it, really, only there? 

Have you noticed what is happening in  your body, while watching the news? 

Or are you avoiding watching the news from the war zone? 

Whatever you have chosen, take a breath through your heart, one more, one more breathing cycle through the heart. Now, visit your body - your hips, your tummy, your rib cage, now your throat - swallow even to ask your throat how it feels, now visit the space between your ears, now the top of your head.

Ask each of these parts what’s happening there. 

Count your breaths.

Count your heart beats. 

If they are still above 16 and 70, then I wish you this:

Slow down your speech

Slow down your breathing

Slow down your walking

Slow down your eating

And let this slower, steadier pace 

Perfume your mind.
